The nuraghe is perched above the wide Modolo valley, in the Planargia region of north-east Sardinia. The megalithic building is crossed lengthwise by a corridor, onto which open three niches. Both entrances are topped by large stone lintels. The tower, currently 6 m high is built of large un-worked basalt blocks, arranged in horizontal courses with reinforcement wedges.

Leave the village of Suni heading to Bosa: after about 250 m make a left turn onto a dirt road. After a few hundred metresyou will reach an arm barrier. Park the car and continue on foot for about 500 m. The nuraghe sits on the right, partly hidden within an oak tree grove, close to the path.
