Fine, soft, white sand swells in small dunes dotted with sea daffodils. Behind, separated by pines, the reddish waters of the pool and salt marshes, for which the beach is named. Le Saline is one of the pearls of the territory of Calasetta, only a few kilometres away, in the island of Sant'Antioco, the largest by size in the Sulcis archipelago. The water, transparent at the shoreline, fades to every shade of blue farther out. The seabed is clear and gently sloping, making it ideal for children or less expert swimmers.
