A kilometre of fine, soft white sand that stretches close to the Pond of Notteri, chosen by pink flamingos as their habitat and the northernmost part of a sandy expanse that starts at the Spanish tower of Porto Giunco, halfway between the beaches of Timi Ama and is Traias. Simius is the ‘city’ beach of Villasimius and is located immediately south-east of the residential area of the splendid and famous tourist resort, enclosed to the north by the promontory of Porto Luna, which also separates it from another jewel of the Simius area, namely Punta Molentis. The splendid bay, protected from the wind, is long and wide and has a distinctive semicircular shape. It is bathed by a crystal-clear sea, that reflects shades of green and blue and the seabed slopes gently out towards the open sea.
