Kal'e Moru is found in the locality of Geremeas, in the municipal area of Quartu Sant'Elena. It is almost three kilometres long, and the seashore is made up of coarse, white sand and rocks. Its waters are of a changing blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflected on the seabed of stones. The name is connected with the pirate raids of the Saracens ('morus') that for many years plundered men and belongings along this coastline.
