Isuledda

San Teodoro, the beach of Isuledda
A sneak preview
Isuledda is found on the Isuledda Headland, in the commune of San Teodoro. The beach has an extremely fine light-coloured sandy bottom, with twinkling reflections. It opens onto a view of the imposing Island of Tavolara, the coasts of Capo Coda Cavallo and Puntaldìa. Isuledda is a stupendous beach, with a deep blue sea and dense scented bushes surrounding its shores. The nearby area hosts the lagoon fed by the Rio Lu Chissaggiu, which dries up in the summer months, and a huge expanse of olive trees and orchards, inside allotments edged with dry-stone walls.

How to get there
It is reached from San Teodoro, following the Provincial Road in the direction of Ottiolu. Turn left towards Isuledda and follow the dirt track as far as the car park behind the beach. It can also be reached from the inhabited centre of San Teodoro, following Viale Cala d'Ambra right to the end, before taking the road on the right.

Useful information and services
With it shallow waters, the beach is perfect for swimming and for children to play. Facilities include a car park and several refreshment points. Beach umbrellas, deckchairs, “patinos” and other boats are available for hire.
