A sneak preview
La Cinta is the most well known and visited beach of San Teodoro. It is located on the northern outskirts of the town, and has a beach that stretches out in an arched shape for around 5 kilometres. A narrow lip of land, rich in low vegetation separates the beach from the lagoon. Dunes of white sand and centuries-old junipers adorn the landscape. La Cinta is also the ideal place for long walks, having naturalistic aspects of great interest: avifauna and bird watching. There are a number of pink flamingos that plough its waters. Coots, little turns, red herons and mallards live in peace on the lagoon.
How to get there
From Olbia go along the SS 125 main road towards the south, and after 23.8 kilometres turn left towards San Teodoro. After 850 metres, immediately after a bridge, turns left and continue for 1.3 kilometres to reach to the car park of the beach, which is around 4 kilometres long and the most popular in the area.
