This little town on the outskirts of Cagliari has grown incredibly over the last few years to become one of the largest towns on the island. It stands on the edge of the salt marsh and lagoon with the same name, which for several years have been home and nursery for the dozens of pairs of flamingos who have chosen to make their nests here.
