San Giovanni di SinisThe seaside resort of San Giovanni lies at the end of the Sinis peninsula and was once famous for its characteristic fishermen’s huts built of wood and reeds. Only a few are left today; the largest group is to be found east of the State Road not far from the ruins of Tharros.
San Salvatore di SinisThe white pilgrims’ houses, known as “cumbessias” surround the country church of San Salvatore. They are inhabited for nine days a year between August and September, on the occasion of the novena for the Saint’s feast day.
