Arzachena

A panoramic view of Arzachena
Between the granite rocks and the sea
Up until 40 years ago, Arzachena was a peaceful pastoral village of the interior. Today it has been transformed into the capital of the Costa Smeralda, one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world and has undergone major changes. From the tiny village that it once was, Arzachena manages to double its population during the summer making it an extremely busy period for its inhabitants.
Baja SardiniaAs well as being a seaside resort, Baja Sardinia is well-known for its busy high-society life which enlivens the nightlife of the coast. Away from the centre the Colle di Battistoni rises to the east, from where you can enjoy a splendid panorama over the whole of the Costa Smeralda.
The port of Cannigione, ArzachenaCannigioneCannigione lies at about 10 kilometres from Arzachena, on the western side of the Gulf. This little centre of the Olbia-Tempio province is greatly appealing with its charming air of an old fishing village.
The little church of Stella Maris, Porto CervoPorto CervoPorto Cervo, a synonym for the Costa Smeralda, is made up of a labyrinth of lanes, porticoed streets and flights of stairs which all converge on its famous Piazzetta overlooking the bay, which in the high season is crowded with luxury boats and yachts.
